in the wild lands of Australia,
a roaster known as Wombat Dandy was encountered.
He did not roast coffee for trade,
nor for profit.
He roasted to preserve time,
and to pass stories from hand to hand.
1803年、オーストラリアの荒野で
ウォンバットダンディと呼ばれる焙煎師が
人々の前に現れたと伝えられています。
彼は、取引のためでも、利益のためでもなく、
時間と物語を残すために珈琲を焙煎しました。
His name was never written in records,
but his way of roasting was remembered.
その名は記録に残らずとも、
焙煎の思想だけが、受け継がれていきました。
